Transition, contrast, and fleeting color

Autumn is a season of rapid change. Forests shift through color, fields fade, and the landscape begins to reveal its underlying structure. From above, the region is defined by contrast — warm tones against dark ridgelines, reflective water, and light that feels both sharp and temporary.

This project presents aerial photographs captured during the autumn season, focusing on transition, natural geometry, and the visual tension that defines fall in New England. The imagery reflects the brief and expressive nature of the season.
